My name is Olesha Haskett and I empower Black women through boudoir photography. My professional photography career started in 2007 at Shepherd University with a degree in photography/computer imagery. During my professional photography years, I have photographed weddings, family and boudoir. Boudoir stuck with me because of the way it made women feel empowered and brave.
I transitioned to only shooting boudoir in 2017. I made the decision to empower only Black women in 2018. My passion is to foster self-love and divine feminity in all Black women. I recently started a community for Black boudoir photographers who empower Black women. It is in its infancy, but I know it is a much-needed platform.
