Brenda De Los Santos is owner of Brenda De Los Santos Photography, a portrait and wedding studio in Southeastern Connecticut.
A lifelong creative soul, Brenda has been making things with her own two hands as long as she can remember through drawing, painting and other creative endeavors. As a young adult, she fell in love with photography after signing up for a photojournalism class on a whim while studying at Boston University. She quickly knew she was hooked to telling stories through photos, declared it as her major and graduated with a degree in photojournalism.
After working on staff at daily newspapers for several years, Brenda took her photography in a different direction and pursued her portrait and event photography business in 2009. With over 15 years of experience, Brenda is well-versed in many different genres of photography, and has taught photography through local museums and other venues since 2010. In her personal photography work, Brenda focuses on travel, lifestyle and food photography.
Brenda also believes in giving back, and is a volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and also puts together a Help-Portrait event each year.
